Easter Story in Eggs

I have been looking for something like this for sometime.  I have seen simaler one but this is the one I found since having kids. I found this on a great blog chocolateonmycranium.blogspot.com. She has posted some great idles about teaching our children about Christ.

Cut apart the following scriptures and put them in corresponding numbered plastic eggs. Add the appropriate item (in parentheses) except for the 12th egg, which should remain symbolically empty. Serve the eggs in a decorated basket. Begin with egg #1 eleven days before Easter (March 27th this year) so that you open #12 on Easter. We like to look up the scripture references and read straight from the scriptures. All references are for the King James version of the bible.

1. Matthew 26:39 (sacrament cup or small cracker)
2. Matthew 26: 48-49 (chocolate kiss)
3. Matthew 26: 14-15 (3 dimes) This fulfilled the prophecy in Zechariah 11:12-14.
4. Matthew 27:1-2 (knotted twine)
5. Matthew 27:15, 17, 21, 24-26 (chunk of hand soap)
6. Matthew 27:28-30 (square of red or purple fabric)
7. Matthew 27:31-32 (small nail)
8. Matthew 27:50-51, 54 (crushed rocks)
9. Matthew 27:57-60 (strip of white cloth)
10. Matthew 27:60, 62-66 ( a small, flat stone)
11. Mark 16:1, 2-6 (bay leaf or other herb)

Pacifier War

I have been trying to take away Kaylene pacifier for 6 month now.  She has been so attached to it that if we travel witch we do not do that often she has to have it the whole time if she did not have it she would just scream.  I know some of this was me it was easier for me to handle the trip. She had to have it to sleep and to calm herself down when she was upset and would just find one and suck on it even if she did not need it. Well as of last week the pacifier is gone.  About three weeks ago I cute the tip off of her pacifier.  She did not like it but she still wanted it.  So this time when I could not find where it had been placed I told her that she could have my baby doll from when I was a little girl.  When I took out my baby doll I told her her name was MaryAnn.  It worked she has gone a week with out the pacifier and has sleped better then she had in the last few months.  One down and one to go.
