Our Walk

The sun was shinning when I got out of bed on Tuesday so we went walking  We decided we were walking to the Church recreation property where we would play ball for a little while before coming home for lunch.  As we were walking I saw a small Ferris wheel in a backyard I pointed it out to Michael and the gentleman that lives there asked us if we want to see it run we said yes. The ferries wheel had Mickey Mouse painted on it, we found out that his wife hand painted each of them we were impressed with this then he told us if we were impressed with this come inside, so we did and we learned that this couple where very talented and that they loved Mickey Mouse it was everywhere it was wonderful to be able to see this couples talents and for them to share there talents with us what a great blessing.

Taking my place in society

In my patriarchal blessing it said something about taking my place in society, I have often wondered what that meant, in time this phrase might become clear to me, but for now this is a sliver of how I see this phrase.  This months Visiting Teaching message Strengthening Families through Temporal Self-Reliance, talks about what we can do to help prepare are family and ourselves in today world. I felt that as I work on being self-reliant I will have courage and strength and something to be proud of that will give me confidence to face society
